The aluminum fins are separated into blocks, not powder. Large air conditioning radiators do not need to be cut into smaller pieces beforehand; a single machine can handle radiators with either 4 or 6 layers of copper tubes, eliminating the need for pre-cutting with a band saw, reducing waste of aluminum powder, and increasing single-shift production.
