Application of The OTR Tire Steel Wire Separator
The OTR Tire Steel Wire Separator is a high-efficiency recycling machine designed to separate strong bead steel wires from rubber blocks of OTR (Off-The-Road) tires, such as mining and engineering tires. It is widely used in OTR tire recycling pretreatment lines after the OTR debeader or tire cutting machine. With powerful squeezing and pulling force, the separator quickly removes steel wire with high separation purity, reducing steel contamination in rubber materials. This greatly improves the performance of downstream equipment such as tire shredders, crushers, and rubber powder production lines, while also protecting blades and lowering maintenance costs. The separated steel wire can be collected for scrap recycling, increasing overall profit for tire recycling plants.
Working Principle of The OTR Tire Steel Wire Separator
The OTR Steel Ring Separator is designed to efficiently separate bead steel wire from rubber blocks in OTR tires. Its working process includes:
1.Feed the OTR tire bead rubber blocks into the separator after debeading/cutting.
2.Heavy-duty rollers clamp the material firmly.
3.The machine pulls out the embedded steel wire with strong traction force.
4.Steel wire is discharged separately, and clean rubber pieces fall out from the rubber outlet.
